HVAC and Air Conditioning Installation in Kenya

Supply, installation and servicing of split units, ducted systems, VRF and industrial HVAC, plus mechanical ventilation.

Finstar Industrial Systems supplies, installs and services air conditioning and ventilation for offices, factories, institutions, hospitality and healthcare buildings. Work ranges from wall-mounted split units to ducted and VRF systems, and the mechanical ventilation — extract fans, roof ventilators, ducting and louvres — that keeps workshops, kitchens and warehouses usable.

The same team stocks the equipment and the installation materials: AC units, ducting, insulation, copper pipe, refrigerant and fittings. That keeps a project, and the servicing that follows it, with one point of contact.

What the work covers

  • Supply and installation of split, ducted and VRF air conditioning
  • Mechanical ventilation: extract and in-line fans, roof ventilators, ducting and louvres
  • Ducting, insulation, copper pipework and refrigerant charging
  • Servicing, repair and replacement of existing systems

Typical sites

  • Offices and commercial buildings
  • Factories, workshops and warehouses
  • Hotels and hospitality
  • Schools, colleges and laboratories
  • Healthcare and institutional facilities
  • Commercial kitchens (extraction)

Before you ask for a quote

The points that most often change the size, cost and running cost of a air conditioning & hvac project. Thinking them through first makes the quotation faster and more accurate.

Cooling load, not floor area

Occupancy, glazing and sun exposure, equipment heat and fresh-air requirements set the cooling load. Two rooms of the same size can need very different capacity.

System type

Split units suit individual rooms; ducted systems serve several rooms from one indoor unit; VRF suits larger buildings with many zones that need individual control. The choice affects installation cost, ceiling space and future maintenance.

Ventilation and fresh air

Air conditioning recirculates air; it does not replace ventilation. Kitchens, workshops, plant rooms and laboratories usually need dedicated extraction sized to the space and the activity.

Refrigerant and serviceability

Check which refrigerant a system uses and that service gas and spares are available locally. R22 is being phased out under the Montreal Protocol, which matters when replacing or extending older systems.

What to send with your enquiry

Drawings, a BOQ, equipment schedules, model numbers or photographs of existing equipment are all useful. If you only have some of this, send what you have.

  • Building type, room sizes and how each space is used
  • Number of occupants and any heat-producing equipment
  • Whether this is a new installation, replacement or extension of an existing system
  • Architectural or MEP drawings, or a BOQ, if available
  • Site location and power supply
